about

(All proceeds from the sale of this track will be going directly to the family.)

Titus was an amazing soul who was pulled away much too soon. He was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in July 2013. He went into remission in November 2013. On April 15th 2014 he relapsed. And on April 15, 2015 Titus moved to the next life. He was just 2 years old.

This recording (and printed CD) would not have been possible without the generous gifts of Mark Allen Miller, Angela Dimock and Dan Morgan.

We did not do this because we felt bad. We did this because love is what will heal this world and save us. Love rules all.

This song is dedicated to the everlasting presence of Titus Allen Johnson and given with love to Mark Johnson, Kenzie Wood, Carmen Sherman, & their families.

I wrote this song specifically for Titus and his family and I preformed it live at his funeral. Everyone involved in the making of this track donated their time 100% and in turn will be donating all money raised from this track to Mark Johnson and Kenzi Wood.

lyrics

LYRICS:
Now don't you see I can feel there's a place in my heart that will forever be yours,
The everlasting love that you've left brings us closer than ever before,
I don't understand why this has taken my whole life,
But ever part of this is true I would not even attempt to lie,

'Cause there ain't no way,
I'm telling you there ain't no way,
That this is the end,

What did you think that I was lost with everything that was known to be,
But you are the star, the light, the life, that is forever guiding me,
Sometimes I lose faith when I think what we have come to be,
But deep within my trusting soul I know that we will meet again,

'Cause there ain't no way,
I'm telling you there ain't no way,
That this is the end,

So many times, I thought that I was, but you were the one sent to set me free,
With every breath, you brought eternal light, and now my heart sees that your wings were meant to be,
You're the hero, the warrior, the old soul, the only one to bring us to my knees,
Now that you're home, with him will you please guide me, I know that love and truth is everything you're meant to be,

You showed me this and you made me know that I'm alive,
But I sometimes wish that you that were in my arms just one last time,
So I could hold your face, and hear your laugh and see that wisdom deep within your eyes,
But I know that this just simply cannot be, and I have accepted your destiny,

I don't want you to see me from above feeling like I am alone,
I have a better soul for loving you, it's more than you could know,
And although I may, seem, at times like I am lost,
I'll remember this, you were here, you saved me, and you have brought my heart home,

'Cause there ain't no way,
I'm telling you there ain't no way,
'Cause there ain't no way,
That this is the end...
